25 String 'Sylvan' lap harp
Harps have been around for such a long time that no one can say for sure where or when they began. According to Irish folklore, harps weren’t a human invention at all, but rather plunder taken from the ancient fairy folk. This is the inspiration for the Sylvan harp.
This is a beautiful small (lap) harp with a wonderful voice. It's got 25 strings starting on F below middle C going up to high B. Because of it's convenient size and big sound, this is the perfect harp for traveling, campfire-hopping, story-telling, or as a beginning harp if you're on a budget! But don't let the price fool you, this is a great sounding instrument! It comes standard with Loveland sharping levers on the c's & f's.
As with all my instruments, the Sylvan harp is carefully handcrafted from select hardwoods. With it's full singing tone, all hardwood construction, and standard sharping levers, the Sylvan harp is THE best value in a lap harp on the market today.
